Q&A's

Family Love

For Families/children: I will direct and pose if the children are old enough to take direction and feel comfortable with me. If not, sometimes I start out by playing with the child to help earn their trust and be able to get genuine expressions that truly capture who they are in this season. The youngest ones really run the show and dictate where we begin. I love traditional photos with everyone (hopefully) smiling and engaged with the camera, but the ones most people treasure are the candid moments and details from different perspectives as you love on one another and play together. Not every family is comfortable with this style at first, but that's where my years of experience comes into play. I hope to make you forget you are posing for a camera and just enjoy the experience. Questions: 1. How large of a family can we include in the session? The regular family session price is for up to 6 people. There is an additional cost for larger groups. Just ask. 2. What if you can't get everyone looking/smiling at the same time? Do you edit to ensure we get at least one with full cooperation from everyone? YES! I often swap heads/bodies for the best shot of everyone altogether in the same image if possible. I got you! 3. What if my child is totally uncooperative during the session? Can we reschedule and try another day? I can assure you that I do all I can to help everyone trust me and be open to my silly self and my camera in their face. However, that's not always possible. We usually can take a break and distract them and let me work my magic to get you beautiful moments despite the meltdowns. Also- that may just be part of the story told. It does make for a great memory behind the photo. After all methods have been executed and they're still not having it, you will have to reschedule another session time at your cost. I usually have you view the photos first to see if that's needed. You would be shocked what greatness can come from what feels like chaos in the moment. You may just love what we got from that time together after all. 4. Do you take just family altogether or individuals as well of each person? I do it all! We usually start with everyone together and then move to other groups and individual shots of each person that is willing of coarse. I do combinations of entire group, siblings together, parents and children together, and you can't forget about parents together without anyone else. Does that ever happen? ha! I make it happen. 5. I only want 1 good photo of us all together. Do I need a full session for that? NO! you could just do a mini session if that is truly all you want. However, I know what it takes to get everyone dressed and in one place at the same time. You might as well get all you can while with me. You won't regret it. Totally up to you and your budget.

Headshots

Show the world your best self. Our headshots are designed to make you look polished, approachable, and confident in every frame. Perfect for business, social media, or professional use. Questions you may have about Headshots: 1. Can I bring a change of clothes for my headshots? YES! you can bring up to 3 different outfits. 2. Do you touch up the photos? YES! I soften the skin and/or sharpen areas that need it. I can touch up teeth color if you request as well. I try to leave all permanent markings since this is how people will be seeing you in person but I can remove skin imperfections that aren't God given and you want removed. Just ask! 3. Do you offer natural light only for headshots? NO. I also offer studio style headshots with lighting for more of a professional/business style with different background colors to choose from. These can be done on location, in my home studio space or you can rent a studio space. I can suggest many in the surrounding area. 4. How long do the photos take to get back? The photos usually take about 1 week to edit and deliver unless requested otherwise.

Feelin' Beautiful

Some people call them Boudoir but I love to call these sessions Feelin' Beautiful because that's exactly they'll do. I think Everyone should make time for these no matter if you feel "camera ready" or not. Be proud of your body- you deserve it! 1- How many outfits can I bring for the session? You can bring up to 6 different looks. Some ladies bring their partners dress shirt or fav sport team jersey, lingerie, heels or boots. Whatever you feel your best in. 2- Where will be doing the session? We will discuss location options and what type of look you want to go for with this session. Sometimes we do them in your home, rent an amazing natural light studio with bed/bathroom/props, or even more fun- you can rent a hotel room and enjoy it after the shoot with a loved one or bestie for the night. It makes it a full overnight full of fun. 3- Do you have a stylist/makeup/hair artist to help my look? YES!!! For an additional cost, I have several artists that I love to work with and trust to give you the either a dramatic sexy look or a natural gorgeous glow. Again- however you'll feel your most stunning self. They can make it happen. 4- Do you do any "touching up" to the photos? Yes you know it! I will soften all the areas that draw attention but I also want you to love and accept your beautiful self just as you are. So i do just enough touching up to make you look flawless. A LOT of making sure you look the most flattering is all in the angles. Trust me- I got you! I know all the tricks and have fun coaching you thru them all. 5. I'm really nervous to be in front of the camera with very little to hide behind. Do you have any suggestions to help with nerves? Yes! Sometimes my clients bring a little liquid courage to take the edge off but if you don't need that we simply turn up some good music, my "modeling fan" and dance around to loosen you up a bit. It usually takes about 20 mins or so to get you in the flow and showing off. But again- I've got you. I promise to make it as painless as possible by being in uncomfortable positions with you and laughing our way thru it. 6. Do you offer photo albums for these sessions that are safe to print these types of photos? YES! My sessions come with a 8x8 lil black book to show off a few of your fav chosen images or maybe give as a gift for someone else to enjoy. The professional print company I use is used to these types of shoots and keeps the content confidential and secure. They've been around and I've used them for years and never disappointed. The books usually take about 2 weeks to get back so if you have a deadline, keep that in mind. 7. How long does it take to see the entire gallery of edited photos? It typically takes me about 1 week to have those finished and ready to share- times can fluctuate depending on the season these are done. I let you know an ETA upon booking, especially if you have a deadline for them. 8. Can I bring someone with me to make me more comfortable? Of coarse you can. Several of my clients have brought their besties to the session and it only makes for a more fun time. Only bring someone you feel totally comfortable with being sexy around.
